Cu toate acestea, matematica poate fi un instrument puternic pentru a preg\u0103ti elevii s\u0103 devin\u0103 cet\u0103\u021beni implica\u021bi, critici \u0219i responsabili.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Prin conectarea g\u00e2ndirii matematice la contextele din lumea real\u0103 \u0219i la provoc\u0103rile sociale, profesorii pot promova nu numai calculul, ci \u0219i abilit\u0103\u021bile necesare pentru participarea civic\u0103: <strong>g\u00e2ndire critic\u0103, rezolvare a problemelor \u0219i ra\u021bionament etic.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>De la numere la cet\u0103\u021benie <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>Cercet\u0103rile arat\u0103 c\u0103 alfabetizarea matematic\u0103 este esen\u021bial\u0103 pentru navigarea \u00een societatea modern\u0103<sup data-fn=\"6b14ca57-c34a-4065-8565-33b30523debf\" class=\"fn\"><a href=\"#6b14ca57-c34a-4065-8565-33b30523debf\" id=\"6b14ca57-c34a-4065-8565-33b30523debf-link\">1<\/a><\/sup>. Ce spune?  <\/em> Astfel de \u00eentreb\u0103ri construiesc capacitatea de a rezista dezinform\u0103rii \u0219i de a deveni \u00eencrez\u0103tori \u00een utilizarea matematicii \u00een aplica\u021bii din via\u021ba real\u0103. <\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Etnomatematica: valorizarea tuturor vocilor <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p><strong>Etnomatematica <\/strong>ne invit\u0103 s\u0103 recunoa\u0219tem c\u0103 matematica nu este neutr\u0103 din punct de vedere cultural. Este \u00eencorporat \u00een diverse tradi\u021bii, fie c\u0103 este vorba de sisteme de num\u0103rare indigene, modele arhitecturale sau tehnici de m\u0103surare agricol\u0103.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Pentru elevii din \u0219coala primar\u0103, explorarea ideilor matematice din mai multe culturi poate promova diversitatea \u0219i un sentiment de apartenen\u021b\u0103. De asemenea, afirm\u0103 c\u0103 matematica este <strong>pentru toat\u0103 lumea \u0219i de la toat\u0103 lumea<\/strong>. C\u00e2nd leg\u0103m \u00eenv\u0103\u021barea matematicii de provoc\u0103rile din lumea real\u0103, perspectivele culturale \u0219i g\u00e2ndirea critic\u0103, le oferim elevilor instrumentele necesare pentru a deveni cet\u0103\u021beni activi, informa\u021bi \u0219i empatici.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Proiecte precum Enigmathico arat\u0103 c\u0103 educa\u021bia civic\u0103 nu trebuie s\u0103 fie o lec\u021bie separat\u0103, ci poate fi predat\u0103 printr-o lentil\u0103 transversal\u0103.
